حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَجَعَ مِنْ غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ فَدَنَا مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ فَقَالَ ‏"‏ إِنَّ بِالْمَدِينَةِ أَقْوَامًا مَا سِرْتُمْ مَسِيرًا وَلاَ قَطَعْتُمْ وَادِيًا إِلاَّ كَانُوا مَعَكُمْ ‏"‏‏.‏ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَهُمْ بِالْمَدِينَةِ قَالَ ‏"‏ وَهُمْ بِالْمَدِينَةِ، حَبَسَهُمُ الْعُذْرُ ‏"‏‏.‏

-....Bize Humeyd et-Tavîl, Enes ibn MâIik(R)'ten (şöyle dediğini) haber verdi: Rasûlullah (S) Tebûk gazvesinden dönüp de Medine'ye yaklaştığımızda: — "Medine'de öyle topluluklar vardır ki, sizin yürüdüğünüz her-bir yerde; sizing geçtiğiniz herbir vâdîde muhakkak onlar da sizin beraberinizde olmuşlardır" buyurdu. Sahâbîler: — Yâ Rasûlallah! Onlar Medîne'de(oturmuşlar)dır! dediler. Rasûlullah:— "Evet onlar Medine'de kaldılar. Fakat onları Medine'de özür habsetti" buyurdu

Narrated Anas bin Malik:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) returned from the Ghazwa of Tabuk, and when he approached Medina, he said, "There are some people in Medina who were with you all the time, you did not travel any portion of the journey nor crossed any valley, but they were with you." They (i.e. the people) said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Even though they were at Medina?" He said, "Yes, because they were stopped by a genuine excuse
