حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتْ هِنْدُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ أَبَا سُفْيَانَ رَجُلٌ شَحِيحٌ فَهَلْ عَلَىَّ جُنَاحٌ أَنْ آخُذَ مِنْ مَالِهِ مَا يَكْفِينِي وَبَنِيَّ قَالَ ‏ "‏ خُذِي بِالْمَعْرُوفِ ‏"‏‏.‏

-... BizejSufyân ibn Uyeyne, Hişâm ibn Urve'den; o da babasından; o da Âişe(R)'den şöyle tahdîs etti: — Yâ Rasûlallah! Şübhesiz (kocam) Ebû Sufyân cimri bir adamdır. Onun malından bana ve oğullanma yetecek kadar almamda bana günâh olur mu? dedi. Rasûlullah (S): — "Örfe göre (onun malından sana ve oğullarına yetecek mik-dârı) al!" buyurdu

Narrated `Aisha:Hind (bint `Utba) said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Abu Sufyan is a miser. Is there any harm if I take of his property what will cover me and my children's needs?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Take (according to your needs) in a reasonable manner
