حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ بُرَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، أُرَاهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ رَأَيْتُ فِي رُؤْيَا أَنِّي هَزَزْتُ سَيْفًا فَانْقَطَعَ صَدْرُهُ، فَإِذَا هُوَ مَا أُصِيبَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ، ثُمَّ هَزَزْتُهُ أُخْرَى، فَعَادَ أَحْسَنَ مَا كَانَ، فَإِذَا هُوَ مَا جَاءَ اللَّهُ بِهِ مِنَ الْفَتْحِ، وَاجْتِمَاعِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ‏"‏‏.‏

İnsan Ru'yâda Kılıç Sallayıp Hareket Ettirdiği Zaman? -...Bize Ebû Usâme, Zeyd ibn Abdillah'tan; o da dedesi Ebû Burde'den; o da Ebû Mûsâ el-Eş'arî(R)'den; -zannederim- o da Peygamber(S)'den tahdîs etti. O, şöyle buyurmuştur: "Ben ru'yâmda kendimi, bir kılıç salladığımı ve kılıcımın ortasının kırılıp bir gedik açıldığını gördüm. Bunun te'vîli Uhud günü mü'minlerden isabet alanlar imiş. Sonra bir kerre daha kılıç salladım. Kılıç bu sefer olduğundan daha güzel hâle döndü. Bunun te'vîli de Allah 'in onunla getirdiği fetih ve mü'minlerin birleşmeleridir"

Narrated Abu Musa:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I saw in a dream that I waved a sword and it broke in the middle, and behold, that symbolized the casualties the believers suffered on the Day (of the battle) of Uhud. Then I waved the sword again, and it became better than it had ever been before, and behold, that symbolized the Conquest (of Mecca) which Allah brought about and the gathering of the believers
