حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصِ بْنِ غِيَاثٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ لأَنْ يَأْخُذَ أَحَدُكُمْ حَبْلَهُ، ثُمَّ يَغْدُوَ ـ أَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ ـ إِلَى الْجَبَلِ فَيَحْتَطِبَ، فَيَبِيعَ فَيَأْكُلَ وَيَتَصَدَّقَ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَسْأَلَ النَّاسَ ‏"‏‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ صَالِحُ بْنُ كَيْسَانَ أَكْبَرُ مِنَ الزُّهْرِيِّ، وَهُوَ قَدْ أَدْرَكَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ‏.‏

-....Bize Ebû Salih, Ebû Hureyre'den tahdîs etti ki, Peygamber (S) şöyle buyurmuştur: "Yemîn olsun, sizden birinizin ipini alması, sonra sabah vakti -Ebû Hureyre dedi ki: Şöyle buyurduğunu zannediyorum:dağa gitmesi odun toplayıp .akabinde bunu satması ve bunun bedelinden yemesi ve sadaka vermesi, o kimse için insanlardan istemesinden daha hayırlıdır". Ebû Abdillah el-Buhârî dedi ki: Salih ibn Keysân, ez-Zuhrî'den yaşça daha büyüktür. Ve bu Salih, İbn Umer'e erişmiştir
