حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ عَرَبِيٍّ، قَالَ سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ عَنِ اسْتِلاَمِ الْحَجَرِ،‏.‏ فَقَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَسْتَلِمُهُ وَيُقَبِّلُهُ‏.‏ قَالَ قُلْتُ أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ زُحِمْتُ أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ غُلِبْتُ قَالَ اجْعَلْ أَرَأَيْتَ بِالْيَمَنِ، رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَسْتَلِمُهُ وَيُقَبِّلُهُ‏.‏

-...Bize Hammâd ibn Zeyd tahdîs etti ki, ez-Zubeyr ibnu Arabî şöyle demiştir: Bir kimse, îbn Umer'e, Haceri Esved'in isti'lâm edilmesinin hükmünü sordu. İbn Umer de: Ben Rasûlullah'in Haceri Esved'i isti'lâm ettiğini, (yânî eliyle dokunduğunu) ve onu öptüğünü gördüm, diye cevâb verdi. Râvî Zubeyr ibn Arabî dedi ki: Ben îbn Umer'e: Eğer dar yerde kıstırılıp sıkıştırılır sam ne dersin? Zor ve kuvvetle oraya varmaktan yenilmiş olursam ne dersin? diye sordum. Îbn Umer (bu suâllerden hadîse aykırı re'y ve ictihâd ileri sürüldüğünü anlayıp üzülerek): Ey sorucu! Sen bu "Eraeyte Ne re'y edersin" sorularını Yemen'de kıl! Narrated Az-Zubair bin 'Arabi:A man asked Ibn `Umar about the touching of the Black Stone. Ibn `Umar said, "I saw Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) touching and kissing it." The questioner said, "But if there were a throng (much rush) round the Ka`ba and the people overpowered me, (what would I do?)" He replied angrily, "Stay in Yemen (as that man was from Yemen).
