وَقَالَ لِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَذِنَ عُمَرُ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ لأَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي آخِرِ حَجَّةٍ حَجَّهَا، فَبَعَثَ مَعَهُنَّ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ وَعَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ‏.‏

Kadınların Hacc Etmesi Babı -..Buhârî dedi ki: Bana Ahmed ibn Muhammed el-Ezrakî şöyle dedi: Bize İbrâhîm, babası Sa'd'dan;o da kendi babası İbrâhîm ibn Abdirrahmân ibn Avftan tahdîs etti ki, ümer ibnu'l-Hattâb (R) yaptığı son haccında Peygamber'in kadınlarına izin vermiş ve onların beraberlerinde Usmân ibn Affân ile Abdurrahmân ibn Avf u göndermiştir
