حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ، وَرَخَّصَ فِي لُحُومِ الْخَيْلِ‏.‏

-...Bize Hammâd ibn Zeyd, Amr ibn Dinar'dan; o da Muhammed ibn Alî el-Bâkır'dan tahdîs etti ki, Câbir ibn Abdillah (R): Peygamber (S) Hayber günü eşeklerin etleri(ni yemek)ten nehyetti,atların etleri hususunda ruhsat verdi, demiştir. Şu'be şöyle demiştir: Bana Adiyy ibn Sabit tahdîs etti ki, el-Berâ ibn Âzib ile Abdullah ibn Ebî Evfâ (R) ....ikisi de: Peygamber (S) eşeklerin etlerini (yemekten) nehyetti, demişlerdir
