حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ يُجْمَعُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَيَقُولُونَ لَوِ اسْتَشْفَعْنَا إِلَى رَبِّنَا، فَيُرِيحُنَا مِنْ مَكَانِنَا هَذَا‏.‏ فَيَأْتُونَ آدَمَ فَيَقُولُونَ لَهُ أَنْتَ آدَمُ أَبُو الْبَشَرِ خَلَقَكَ اللَّهُ بِيَدِهِ وَأَسْجَدَ لَكَ الْمَلاَئِكَةَ وَعَلَّمَكَ أَسْمَاءَ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ، فَاشْفَعْ لَنَا إِلَى رَبِّنَا حَتَّى يُرِيحَنَا‏.‏ فَيَقُولُ لَهُمْ لَسْتُ هُنَاكُمْ‏.‏ فَيَذْكُرُ لَهُمْ خَطِيئَتَهُ الَّتِي أَصَابَ ‏"‏‏.‏

-....Bize Katâde tahdîs etti ki, Enes (R) şöyle demiştir:Rasûlullah (S) şöyle buyurdu: "Kıyamet gününde mü'minler toplanırlar ve: — İçinde bulunduğumuz şu sıkıntılı durumdan bizleri kurtarıp rahat ettirmesi için Rabb'imizden şefaat istesek! derler. Akabinde Âdem'e gelirler ve ona: — Sen beşerin babası Âdem 'sin. Allah seni kendi eliyle yarattı; melekleri senin için secde ettirdi ve sana herşeyin isimlerini öğretti. Bulunduğumuz şu durumdan bizleri kurtarması için Rabb'imiz yanında bizlere şefaat et! derler. Âdem de: — Ben buna ehil değilim, der ve onlara vaktiyle işlemiş olduğu hatîesini zikreder"

Narrated Anas:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The believers will be assembled on the Day of Resurrection and they will say, 'Let us look for someone to intercede for us with our Lord so that He may relieve us from this place of ours.' So they will go to Adam and say, 'You are Adam, the father of mankind, and Allah created you with His Own Hands and ordered the Angels to prostrate before you, and He taught you the names of all things; so please intercede for us with our Lord so that He may relieve us.' Adam will say, to them, 'I am not fit for that,' and then he will mention to them his mistake which he has committed
